NASCAR Stock Car Racing Action is Proving To Be Very Competitive This Season at Grandview

    BECHTELSVILLE, PA - Competition is tough at Grandview Speedway. Ask just about any stock car racer at the Bechtelsville clay oval and the answer will be the same, “There are more winners this season and that means the competition is tougher.” Just about any racer can be a winner on Saturday night at Grandview Speedway. Fans coming out for Bashore Trucking/BFP Speciality Night this Saturday, June 6th, can expect to see the tough competition continue.
    This Saturday the NASCAR Sportsman stock cars will top the action with a 40-lap main event with extra bucks being offered for the win. The T.P. Trailers NASCAR 358 Modifieds, six different feature winners this season, will battle in a 30-lap main event starting 28 racers. And the BRC Late Models will be back in action with another excitement packed 25-lap main event. Of course all the racers have to do well in the qualifying events in order to earn a starting spot in the main events.
    The popular Checkered Flag Fan Club will be on hand looking to add members to their organization, one of the oldest in the nation. Spectator gates will open at 5:30 p.m. with a Low Down & Dirty Meet and Greet taking place at the main entrance. Modified talent Jared Umbenhauer, a three time Sportsman champion, will be on hand signing copies of a limited edition photo of him and also former standout Davey Wenger. In addition Sportsman racer Brad Arnold will be meeting fans along with Late Model driver Steve Wilson.
    Fans and racers are reminded to participate in the Ingersoll Rand Text Contest. It runs from 11 a.m. on Saturday to 11 p.m. on Sunday each week and someone has the opportunity to win a IR Merchandise bag. Text IRToolsGRV to 313131.
    Racing gets the green at 7:30 p.m. Adult admission is $20.00 while youngsters 5 through 11 pay $5.00. Children under 5 are admitted FREE. Pit admission is $30 but requires a Nascar license.
    Grandview Speedway, a one-third-mile, banked clay track, is located on Passmore Road just off Route 100 in Bechtelsville, PA, 10 miles north of Pottstown. A full assortment of great concessions and novelty items are available. Free parking on the grounds. Fans are invited to the competition area after the events are completed to meet the racers.
