KINGSPORT, TN - Kingsport Speedway and the Southeast Super Truck Series will show their appreciation to the military this Saturday, May 23.
The Memorial Day weekend event will offer free admission to veterans and active duty military members with military ID.
“Offering free admission to veterans and active duty military is just a small way to show our appreciation,” said Jeff Myers, Southeast Super Trucks founder. “We hope to put on an awesome show for them.”
“Veterans and those currently serving in the military sacrifice so much for our freedom, this is the least we can do for them,” said Karen Tunnell, Kingsport Speedway general manager.
Southeast Super Truck Series drivers will take on “The Concrete Jungle” for 75 laps of action. The Southeast Super Stock Series will make their first trip to Kingsport for 50 laps. Also on tap will be the Carolina Vintage Racers, Front-Wheel Drive and Mini Cups.
Grandstands open Saturday at 5 PM, autograph session at 6:15 PM and racing begins at 7 PM. Adult admission is $12, seniors 60 and above $8, children seven to 12 $6 and children six-and-under are admitted free. Tier parking is $10 for the vehicle plus admission.
