NASCAR Weekend Next Up For Southern All Star At Talladega Short Track

FAYETTEVILLE, TN - The Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series will makes its final stop of the season Saturday night October 24th at the Talladega Short Track for the annual NASCAR Weekend, with a 40 lap $4,000 to win event. Riley Hickman of Ooltewah, TN., who has clinched the 2015 Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series title will lead the drivers into the event, with Dillon Tidmore of Glencoe, AL., the 2015 Cruise with the Champions/ rookie of the year also in attendance along with Randy Weaver of Crossville, TN., Dylan Ames of Harvest, AL., Jason Hiett of Oxford, AL., Eric Cooley of Fulton, MS., and Jake Knowles of Rome, GA all are expected to be in action. The annual NASCAR Weekend is always one of the big weekends of the year at Talladega Short Track and is one of the of top events on the Southern All Stars schedule year in and year out. Drivers from all across the mid south will be in attendance as well and a strong contingent of local super late model drivers that include Tom Roszell, Douglas Stewart, Jason Wilson, Terry Smith, Danny Peoples, Scooter Elkins, Dallas Cooper, Ryan King and Jeff Johns. Friday night will be a Talladega Short Track regular program featuring a $2,000 to win super late model event along with a full racing program.
