36th Annual Jackson 100 Up Next for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series

WAYCROSS, GA - The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will return to Brownstown Speedway, September 18th-19th for the 36th Annual Jackson 100. The biggest names in dirt late model racing will converge on the 1/4-mile bullring, all vying for the $20,000 top prize. Scott Bloomquist of Mooresburg, TN will return to defend his Jackson 100 title. In 2014, Bloomquist claimed his record-setting fifth Jackson 100 over Don O'Neal, Chris Simpson, Mike Marlar, and Dale McDowell. The stars of the LOLMDS are once again set to battle a strong contingent of local and regional standouts. The festivities will kick off on Friday night, September 18th with Hot Laps and Miller Welders Time Trials for the LOLMDS. Racing action on Friday night will also include the 3rd Annual Bowman 50, which pays $2,000-to-win for Indiana Pro Late Models. A complete program for Pure Stocks, Hornets, and MMSA Mini Sprints is also on tap for Friday night, September 18th. The LOLMDS will take center stage on Saturday night, September 19th, featuring Heat Races, B-Mains and the 100-lap, $20,000-to-win Jackson 100 main event. The Modifieds and Super Stocks will also be in competition on Saturday night.
