NASCAR Whelen All American Series Racing Featured This Friday at Lonesome Pine

COEBURN, VA - The high banks of Lonesome Pine Raceway return to life this Friday night presented by Pepsi of Norton. With NASCAR at Bristol Motor Speedway, racing at LPR has been moved back to Friday night at 7 PM. Twin 35-lap Late Model Stock Car features headline the night of NASCAR Whelen All-American Series racing. Also racing will be Modified Street, Pure 4, Mod 4, Pure Street and Rookie Pure 4 divisions. Pit gates open at 12 PM on Friday, with early practice from 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM. Practice begins at 4:30 PM, qualifying at 6:15 PM and racing gets underway at 7:00 PM. Grandstand gates open at 4:30 PM. Adult admission is $10, children 12-and-under are admitted free. Those wishing to attend Thursday’s race at Kingsport (Tenn.) Speedway can purchase a $15 two-day pass. Kingsport Speedway roars to life on Thursday night at 7 PM with six divisions racing. NASCAR Hall of Fame driver, Bobby Allison, will be on hand signing autographs from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
